It's summer time and Chennai and its suburbs face one more round of water scarcity. It might continue till the next spell of rain comes (God...please tell us when that will happen)
Water is not coming in the pipes of my house, but it comes in tanker lorries. I wonder, when the water is not coming in pipes and the lakes are empty, wherefrom the tanker lorries get water from. Why can't the government tap this and ensure that water is supplied not through lorries but through pipes. When the tanker lorries can afford to get water, why can't the government get this. At least the accidents caused by these water tankers can come down
