We have this menace of bus day in Chennai. Not sure, who created this concept of bus day and did they perceived it to be this ugly. Students hijack the bus in the name of celebrations and torture commuters for the whole day, not only bringing city to a halt but also take pride of doing so
Some years back, i was conducting an interview session and i happened to meet a candidate who has finished his college a year back from one of the city's colleges. He coud not answer basic accounting questions of journal entry or BRS. I change the topic and asked him whether he celebrated bus day during his college and his face turned bright and answered how he enjoyed it
He also told me that he has a brother who is studying in 2nd year in the same college. I told him that i am rejecting his candidature and asked him to go and inform his brother about this
