I think it is going to be Modi again in Gujarat.  I feel that it is good sign if Modi is voted back as he is one of the patriotic politician our country can ever have.  More in Vajpayee mode

All these news agencies NDTV, CNN, etc.are looking like paid agents of Congress and always rake up the 2002 riots to malign his image

Modi is likely to come out with 3 cheers in this thursday's voting

World of Atoms

Atoms - this one magic word fascinates me.  Though not a science student, this part of science is more interesting for me

I read an article about Atoms on how it is made of.  We all know that it is made of protons, nuetrons and electrons.  There is a 4th element to it and it is....errr...i could not recollect its name

Interesting is that...all elements are made up of atoms and atoms are divided into 3 major categories.  For example, if coal has got 4P, 5N and 3E and Diamond has got 3P, 3N and 8E...the article says that if the combination in coal is changed to that of diamond...then coal can be converted into diamonds

Fascinating...right

Probably, researchers should be thinking on those lines

State of the Roads

We had heavy rain in Chennai last week and it rained cats and dogs for 2 full days without interruption.  We all know the state of the roads after every spell of rain and as usual the roads were pathetic.  I wonder how the roads in the are of Poes Garden and Gopalapuram never go like this.  Is there any special material that is being used by the contractors to have special roads for CM and Ex-CM

I sometime wonder that i can do a better job in Chennai Corporation if i was given a corpus of Rs.500 crore and i could re-built this city

Doctors' treat the diesease and not human beings

I was not  well last week and went to a hospital.  Doctor gave me some antibiotics which was a heavy dose for me and i started feeling the after effects of the medicine.  I had to be in the after effect of antibiotics for the next 3 days.  Doctor asked me take tablets for 3 days and 4 dosage per day, but i stopped it with 2 dosages as the tablet was not treating me but the disease

With the institution of family doctors now gone and dead, we are relied upon doctors who treat the disease and not me

Medicine has increased, doctors are now sophisticated, but human being still remain same.  Doctors are more professional now, but they have stopped understanding the human being

We have now doctors and diseases.  We have lost human touch for professionalism and that is the saddest part

Met Mr.Pazha Nedumaran on 14th January 2011 at 35th Chennai Book Fair. What a simple man he is...Though i don't agree with his thinking on Eelam and other issues, i admired him and introduced myself with him. Unfortunately could not take a photograph with him, but i was totally taken aback by his simplicity
